Position: Assistant Director of Care at AgeCare

In this crucial role, you will report directly to the Director of Care in a long-term care setting, overseeing care planning and staff education. Your expertise in geriatric nursing will ensure ongoing evaluation of resident care and adherence to regulatory policies. Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate resident care activities under established policies

• Review and audit patient documentation for compliance

• Develop and maintain accurate care plans

• Respond to resident and family inquiries effectively

• Collaborate with nursing staff and management teams

Requirements:

• Expertise in geriatric and long-term care nursing

• Knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations and acts

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Certified Registered Nurse with provincial qualifications
