Empower resident health as Age Care's Assistant Director of Care in a collaborative nursing environment. Lead care activities, audits, and compliance while enhancing resident experiences.
In this crucial role, you will report directly to the Director of Care in a long-term care setting, overseeing care planning and staff education. Your expertise in geriatric nursing will ensure ongoing evaluation of resident care and adherence to regulatory policies. Engage proactively with families to address concerns and advocate for effective resolutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate resident care activities under established policies
• Review and audit patient documentation for compliance
• Develop and maintain accurate care plans
• Respond to resident and family inquiries effectively
• Collaborate with nursing staff and management teams
Requirements:
• Expertise in geriatric and long-term care nursing
• Knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations and acts
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Certified Registered Nurse with provincial qualifications
