As part of the LHAP 2N Medicine team, you will report to the Manager. Your key responsibilities will include assessing patient health, planning and implementing care, and administering medications in a family-centered care setting. Successful candidates should excel in high-pressure situations and demonstrate excellent patient interaction skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and monitor patient vital signs and conditions
• Administer medications and monitor IV therapies
• Set up necessary medical equipment efficiently
• Educate patients and families about care and treatments
• Document care plans and patient progress meticulously
Requirements:
• Active certification with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a medical/surgical environment
• Current CPR and BCLS certifications
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
• Commitment to Lakeridge Health’s safety practices
