Registered Nurse Intermediate Nursery

Support newborn and family-centered care as a Registered Nurse at Lakeridge Health Ajax-Pickering, working temporary part time across 12-hour shifts.

This Registered Nurse serves Intermediate Nursery Level 2 within Women and Children's Healthcare. The practice includes nursing process, multidisciplinary collaboration, professional standards, and cross-training to Paediatrics. The schedule includes days, nights, and weekends, subject to change, for approximately 18 months.

• Provide family-centered patient care using the nursing process
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary Health Care Team
• Maintain competence and professionalism under College standards
• Complete cross-training to Paediatrics
• Support related duties in the Women's and Children's Program

• Hold College of Nurses of Ontario registration in good standing
• Maintain Reflective Practice Standards outlined by the CNO
• Hold current Basic Life Support certification from Heart and Stroke
• Obtain NRP certification within three months of hire
• Complete or pursue the required NICU Level III course
