Shape housing solutions with Community Development Council Durham as the Team Lead for Landlord Engagement. Use leadership skills to enhance landlord and client relationships within the Opening Doors program.
In this essential role, you will oversee daily operations of the Housing Department while driving landlord engagement strategies. Your responsibilities include problem-solving escalated cases, coordinating with the Housing Manager, and leading a dedicated team. You will facilitate housing placements and ensure efficient service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate daily operations of the Opening Doors Durham program
• Build relationships with landlords, property managers, and partners
• Ensure timely processing of referrals and documentation
• Conduct quality assurance audits for data accuracy
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance housing opportunities
Requirements:
• 3-5 years of supervisory experience in housing
• Degree in Social Work or related field preferred
• Solid understanding of anti-oppression and housing frameworks
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Valid Ontario driver’s license and insurance required
Lead the effort in connecting clients with safe housing while ensuring excellent service quality.
