Lead impactful victim support services with Victim Services of Durham Region as a full-time Crisis Intervention and Service Manager. Drive effective, trauma-informed care and enhance program delivery in Whitby.
This full-time, on-site position focuses on operational leadership and staff supervision within victim services. You will oversee crisis intervention and counseling while promoting a collaborative environment. The role includes managing service delivery, developing teams, and ensuring high-quality support for those affected by crime or trauma.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide operational oversight of victim support and crisis intervention services
• Lead, mentor, and support multidisciplinary staff and volunteers
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and confidentiality standards
• Maintain strong relationships with community organizations and funders
• Contribute to program planning and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
• Degree in Social Service Work or related field
• Minimum five years of direct service experience
• Two years of supervisory experience
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills
• Valid Ontario driver's license and reliable transportation
