Durham Community Health Hub Manager

Join Durham Community Health Centre as the Manager of the Youth Wellness Hub, focusing on youth care and wellness in a temporary full-time capacity. This role requires leadership in creating equitable access to health services.

As the Manager, you will navigate challenges faced by youth and help implement the YWHO model through effective teamwork and community collaboration. Your vital leadership will ensure that the Hub operates efficiently and meets diverse youth needs while ensuring high service quality and trauma-informed practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee Youth Wellness Hub's program delivery and operations

• Lead and support an interprofessional team of health professionals

• Foster partnerships with community organizations and schools

• Ensure that Hub services are meeting youth needs directly

• Participate in program evaluation and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Degree in social work, public health, or related field

• 5+ years progressive leadership experience in youth services

• Knowledge of youth engagement and mental health frameworks

• Strong ability to build relationships and communicate effectively

• Access to a vehicle for required travel
