Forklift Operator

Drake International is hiring Certified and Experienced Reach Truck and Sit-Down Counterbalance forklift Operators for our client in the Ajax area.

  5 days per week– 8 AM to 4 PM (ongoing assignment)
• Weekend availability is mandatory, please note that all schedules must include Saturday and Sunday.

As a Forklift Operator
- Material Handler you will be responsible for managing the movement of materials within our facility, ensuring that products are handled safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate various types ofheavy equipment.

• Operate a Reach Truck and Sit-Down Counterbalance forklift Operation experience according to instructions provided.
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers.
• Move products and materials to designated warehouse locations.
• Pick, stage, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Keep warehouse aisles, storage areas, and work spaces clean and organized.
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and workplace regulations.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as required.

• 2+ years Reach Truck (Cat Reach,Hangcha Reach and Toyota) and Sit-Down Counterbalance forklift Operation material handling experience.
• Must have valid forklift certification.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be ableto lift
  50 pounds.
• Must have experience in Loading of materials and merchandise onto the trailers.
• Must have experience using
  
  Material handling equipment (MHE)
• Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
• Build pallets and prepare shipments for delivery.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
• Must have a clear Crim check.
