This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the road, working independently, and providing excellent customer service. As a DZ Class Heavy Equipment Delivery Driver, you’ll be the direct link between our branch team and our customers on‑site. Your professionalism, reliability, and commitment to safe driving helps maintain and strengthen our long‑term customer relationships.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Deliver equipment safely and efficiently to customer job sites.
  • Load, unload, tie down, and secure all equipment and products in accordance with safety standards and best practices.
  • Provide excellent customer service while representing the company professionally on job sites.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with dispatch regarding schedules, delivery updates, and route changes.
  • Update driver log books and required documentation accurately and consistently.
  • Inspect loads and equipment during deliveries and report any damages or issues to the manager promptly.
  • Prepare for next‑day deliveries by fueling trucks, washing vehicles when required, and pre‑loading equipment.
  • Work collaboratively with the branch team to support daily operations and customer needs.
  • Follow all workplace safety protocols and environmentally sound practices, making sure everyone stays safe.

What We're Looking For
  • Delivery Driving

    Experience:

    Experience delivering construction or landscaping equipment to job sites.
  • Customer Service Oriented: Excellent communication skills and a knack for making customers feel valued.
  • DZ Class Driver’s License: Full DZ Class driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
  • Safety Focused: Familiarity with safe driving practices and construction site requirements.
  • Experience tying down and securing various types of loads safely and effectively.
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • A Self‑Starter: Ability to work independently with a keen sense of time‑management and effective organizational skills.
  • Construction Knowledge: Familiarity with construction equipment and building products.
  • Endurance: Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly up to 50lbs. Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Previous roll‑off truck experience.
  • Prior experience with both TRAC operation and Systematics would be considered an asset.
