The role of Letter Carrier at Canada Post is a temporary, on-call position that offers a unique way to interact with local customers. You'll conduct daily operations starting from the depot, loading a postal vehicle and travelling to deliver items across your designated route. This role requires physical stamina and a dedication to customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and sort mail at the depot
• Operate Canada Post vehicles safely
• Deliver parcels by foot or vehicle efficiently
• Return to depot to unload incoming mail
• Engage with customers to provide exceptional service
Requirements:
• Class 5 or Class G driver's license with good record
• Ability to lift and carry mail items regularly
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions
• Availability for an on-call schedule
• English and/or French proficiency
