Cherry Picker Forklift Operator

Adecco is hiring an experienced full-time reliable and safety-conscious Cherry Picker Forklift Operator to join our client's warehouse team in Ajax, ON.

In this role you will be responsible for accurately picking and moving products using an order picker forklift to fulfill orders efficiently and on time. Must be comfortable working at heights while performing material handling and order picking duties.

• Pay Rate: $
  21.00/hour and up to $22.50 after training period
• Location: Ajax, ON
• Job Type: Temp to Perm | Full time (Must be available to work full time 40 hours+ Overtime Hours)

• Responsible for moving materials within warehouse.
• Perform a variety of physically demanding duties, such as manually loading and unloading goods.
• Follow all company safety, security, and housekeeping protocols.
• Loading trucks, offloading trucks, and able to operate a slip sheet to unload containers.
• Must be comfortable driving and working in a fast-paced environment.

• Valid forklift Certification.
• At least 1‑year experience operating Order Picker forklifts in a warehouse environment.
• Prior warehouse experience and comfort with general labour including case picking and palletizing product.
• Comfortable working at heights while performing material handling and order picking duties.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with slip sheet is an asset.
• High energy and ability to follow processes.
• Strong communication skills to interact with staff and outside drivers in dispatch.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
