Responsibilities
Diagnose, inspect and troubleshoot mechanical faults in passenger vehicles using advanced diagnostic equipment. Perform repair and maintenance of engine, transmission, suspension, steering, braking, cooling and air conditioning systems. Conduct routine servicing and preventive maintenance according to manufacturer standards. Inspect vehicles and identify the root cause of mechanical issues, providing accurate repair recommendations. Perform road tests before and after repairs to ensure vehicle performance and safety.
Read and interpret technical manuals, repair procedures and wiring diagrams. Coordinate with Service Advisors and Workshop Supervisors to ensure timely and efficient completion of repairs. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company quality standards and safety regulations. Maintain accurate service records and job reports. Support junior technicians by providing technical guidance when required.
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an Automotive Mechanical Engineer or Senior Automotive Technician. Strong knowledge of gasoline and diesel engines, transmission systems, suspension, steering, braking, and cooling systems. Hands‑on experience using automotive diagnostic tools and workshop equipment. Ability to diagnose and solve complex mechanical problems efficiently. Experience working with Japanese, German, American, or luxury vehicle brands is preferred.
Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work in a fast‑paced workshop environment. UAE/GCC experience is an advantage.
