Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed joinery BOQs, Bills of Quantities, and cost estimates ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
- Conduct thorough material take-offs from joinery drawings and specifications to determine required quantities and costs.
- Evaluate subcontractor joinery bids, comparing prices and assessing their compliance with project requirements.
- Manage and control joinery project costs throughout the construction phase, identifying and mitigating potential cost overruns.
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
- Relevant professional certifications such as MRICS or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience specifically in joinery quantity surveying within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of joinery materials, construction methods, and industry standards.
