Key Responsibilities
Manage all strong post-contract commercial and quantity surveying activities strong from contract award to final account Review and understand strong main contracts subcontracts BOQs specifications drawings scope of work contract conditions commercial terms and payment provisions strong Establish and maintain comprehensive strong commercial and contractual control systems strong for assigned projects Prepare submit monitor and follow up strong Interim Payment Applications IPA strong and strong Interim Payment Certificates IPC strong Prepare accurate strong monthly valuations strong based on measured and verified progress Coordinate with Project Site Planning QA QC and Construction Teams to obtain accurate strong progress quantities and supporting documentation strong Verify strong executed quantities installed quantities fabrication quantities delivered materials site progress and completed works strong for valuation purposes Prepare strong quantity take-offs measurements BOQ reconciliation progress measurement valuation sheets and payment summaries strong Review certified amounts and identify strong payment discrepancies deductions retention advance recovery contra charges and other commercial adjustments strong Monitor strong payment status outstanding certifications receivables retention and contractual payment timelines strong Prepare and maintain strong Variation Orders Variation Claims Change Orders Change Requests and additional work submissions strong Identify and evaluate strong variations omissions additions substitutions design changes client instructions site instructions and scope changes strong Prepare detailed strong variation quotations cost build-ups rate analysis supporting measurements and commercial submissions strong Negotiate strong variation rates additional works revised rates and commercial settlements strong with clients consultants main contractors and subcontractors Maintain strong Variation Registers Change Registers Claim Registers Payment Registers and Commercial Trackers strong Identify potential strong commercial risks scope gaps cost exposure contractual risks and entitlement opportunities strong Review project correspondence and site records to establish strong commercial entitlement and contractual rights strong Prepare and submit strong claims contractual notices entitlement submissions disruption claims prolongation claims acceleration claims loss and expense claims and EOT-related commercial submissions strong where applicable Support the preparation of strong Extension of Time EOT strong submissions by providing cost and commercial information Assess financial impacts associated with strong delays disruptions variations acceleration prolongation suspension and changes in scope strong Maintain detailed records of strong delay events variation events instructions RFIs approvals correspondence site records and contractual notices strong Review strong subcontractor payment applications valuations variations claims and final accounts strong Measure subcontractor works and verify quantities against strong BOQ drawings approved variations site records and actual execution strong Prepare strong Subcontractor Payment Certificates strong and commercial recommendations Manage subcontractor strong commercial negotiations back charges contra charges retention deductions and final settlements strong Prepare and maintain strong subcontractor variation and claims registers strong Monitor project strong costs commitments forecasts actual expenditure and commercial performance strong in coordination with the project controls team Prepare strong cost reports commercial reports cash-flow forecasts cost-to-complete reports and financial forecasts strong Monitor strong Budget vs Actual Cost Committed Cost Forecast Cost Cost Variance and Cost-to-Complete strong Prepare strong Cost Value Reconciliation CVR strong reports and analyze project commercial performance Monitor strong revenue cost margin forecast margin WIP accruals and project profitability strong where applicable Assist management in identifying strong cost-saving opportunities commercial risks margin erosion and potential recoveries strong Review and assess strong rates unit rates productivity rates labour costs material costs plant costs subcontractor rates and overheads strong Prepare detailed strong rate analysis and cost build-ups strong for variations and claims Reconcile strong BOQ quantities contract quantities approved variations executed quantities certified quantities and final quantities strong Prepare strong BOQ reconciliation and quantity reconciliation reports strong Review drawings and specifications to identify strong scope changes quantity discrepancies omissions and additional works strong Coordinate with Engineering and Technical Teams regarding strong drawing revisions design changes technical clarifications RFIs and revised quantities strong Review strong IFC drawings shop drawings…
