Overview
A leading premium private hospital in Ajman is seeking an experienced ENT Consultant or Specialist to join its expanding Otolaryngology Department. This position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive medical and surgical ENT services within a modern multidisciplinary hospital equipped with advanced diagnostic and surgical facilities. The successful candidate will manage both adult and paediatric ENT conditions while collaborating closely with Audiology, Speech Therapy, Maxillofacial Surgery, Oncology, Allergy, Pulmonology, and Primary Care teams to deliver high‑quality patient‑centred care.
ClinicalResponsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient ENT consultations
- Diagnose and manage disorders involving Ear, Nose, Sinuses, Throat, Voice disorders, Salivary glands, Head & Neck conditions
- Perform diagnostic procedures including nasal endoscopy, flexible laryngoscopy, microscopic ear examination
- Perform ENT surgical procedures appropriate to appointment level including tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, septoplasty, functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS), tympanoplasty, myringotomy with grommet insertion, and minor head & neck procedures
- Manage emergency ENT presentations
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and clinical governance initiatives
- Maintain comprehensive clinical documentation and ensure compliance with hospital quality standards
- Western‑trained Consultant preferred (UK CCT, American Board, Canadian Fellowship, Australian Fellowship, European Board, or equivalent Tier‑1 qualification)
- Minimum 5 years’ post‑board Consultant experience
- Broad ENT surgical practice
- MOHAP Licence or Eligibility preferred
- Recognised Specialist qualification in Otolaryngology (ENT)
- Minimum 3‑5 years’ post‑specialisation experience
- Broad experience in medical and surgical ENT practice
- MOHAP Licence or Eligibility preferred
- Excellent communication and patient‑centred care skills
- Experience with in multidisciplinary hospital environments
- Strong commitment to clinical quality and patient safety
- Existing MOHAP Licence or Eligibility
- Experience with in internationally accredited hospitals
- Interest in rhinology, otology, head & neck surgery, or paediatric ENT
- Academic or teaching experience
- Immediate availability or short notice period
