THE ROLE

A leading healthcare provider in the UAE is seeking a qualified Specialist Cardiologist to join its growing clinical team. The role offers an opportunity for an experienced cardiology professional to work within a modern, patient-focused healthcare environment, providing comprehensive cardiac care to a diverse patient population. The position is suitable for internationally trained specialists seeking professional growth, clinical exposure and the opportunity to practice within a well-established healthcare organisation.

ROLE

OVERVIEW

The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary clinical team, collaborating with consultants, specialists, nurses and allied healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality cardiovascular care. The role will involve the assessment, diagnosis, treatment and ongoing management of patients with a broad range of cardiovascular conditions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assess, diagnose and manage patients presenting with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions.
  • Conduct comprehensive cardiac consultations and develop appropriate treatment and management plans.
  • Interpret relevant diagnostic investigations, including ECGs, echocardiography, stress testing and other cardiac investigations within the scope of practice.
  • Manage patients with conditions including hypertension, coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias and other cardiovascular disorders.
  • Provide appropriate preventive cardiology and risk-factor management.
  • Collaborate with other specialties for multidisciplinary patient management and continuity of care.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with applicable clinical and patient-safety standards.
  • Participate in clinical meetings, quality improvement initiatives and service development activities.

  • American Board or equivalent recognised specialist qualification in Cardiology
  • UK CCT / MRCP with recognised specialist cardiology training
  • European Board or equivalent recognised cardiology qualification
  • Royal College Certification (Canada)
  • Australian FRACP or equivalent recognised qualification
  • Arab Board
  • MD / DNB / FCPS or equivalent recognised specialist qualification in Cardiology
