Overview
Librarian position in Ajman, UAE. We are looking for a Librarian to join our team in Ajman. The successful candidate will be part of a vibrant and fast-paced environment and can grow their knowledge base. Salary: 1600 AED. We are open to considering an immigrant for this role.
Responsibilities- Organize, catalog, and maintain an up-to-date library of books, periodicals, journals, and other materials.
- Help patrons locate materials within the library, assist with research projects, and provide readers advisory services.
- Organize library events and maintain accurate circulation records.
- Keep up-to-date with new publications or other relevant information to provide patrons with the best resources available.
- Excellent organizational skills and strong customer service abilities to effectively assist patrons.
- Strong computer proficiency to manage circulation records and library databases.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A degree in Library Science or related field is preferred but not required; however minimal work experience is essential for this role.
