Librarian - Indian Nationals Only

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Librarian to join our team in Ajman. As a librarian, you will be responsible for managing our library collection, assisting patrons with research requests, and promoting literacy and education within the community. This position is open to Indian nationals only.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain the library collection, including cataloging, shelving, and weeding materials

Assist patrons with finding resources and researching information

Plan and coordinate library programs and events to promote literacy and education

Develop relationships with community members to understand their needs and interests

Stay updated on current literature, technology, and trends in the library field

Train and supervise library staff members

Maintain accurate records of library transactions and prepare reports as needed

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field

Proven experience working in a library setting

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus)

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team

Familiarity with library systems and software

Salary:
