DescriptionAs a key member of the Student Recruitment & Experience Office, you will play a central role in supporting prospective students from the South Asian region - primarily India, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh. You will guide applicants from their initial enquiry through to registration, ensuring that every stage of the admissions journey is smooth, informative, and student-centred. This role involves delivering accurate programme information, supporting admissions and documentation processes, and driving targeted outreach and marketing initiatives within South Asian communities across the UAE and GCC.
Your work will directly support LSBU UAE’s commitment to delivering a professional, warm, and personalised student experience.
- Engage prospective students through phone calls, Whats App, email, and face-to-face meetings
- Provide accurate and compelling information on LSBU UAE programmes, entry requirements, and progression pathways.
- Support targeted outreach, telemarketing, and recruitment initiatives for the South Asian market.
- Represent LSBU UAE at school visits, events, community gatherings, and recruitment fairs as required.
- Assist applicants with documentation, application procedures, and general admissions guidance
- Conduct timely follow-ups to improve conversion from enquiry to enrolment.
- Maintain accurate and organised applicant data within CRM and admissions systems.
- Coordinate with academic departments for file reviews and admissions decisions.
- Provide initial academic and career counselling for prospective students.
- Support onboarding processes, induction events, and student engagement activities.
- Help create a supportive and inclusive environment for students transitioning from South Asian educational backgrounds.
- Support the operational needs of the Student Recruitment & Experience Office.
- Prepare weekly reports, manage data logs, and support KPI tracking.
- Assist in planning and delivering faculty-led workshops, webinars, and community-focused events.
- Strong familiarity with South Asian communities, education systems, and cultural dynamics
- Excellent command of Hindi or Urdu & English, with additional regional languages considered an advantage
- 3+ years’ experience in student recruitment, admissions, counselling, telemarketing, customer service, or similar fields.
- A confident, friendly, and professional manner with the ability to build trust with students and families
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A proactive, flexible approach and willingness to learn and grow
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
