Deliver undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in veterinary anatomy and related subjects. Develop course materials, laboratory manuals, and assessment tools. Conduct practical sessions including dissections, demonstrations, and tutorials. Supervise student projects, research activities, and academic advising.
ResearchEstablish and maintain an active research program in veterinary anatomy or related fields. Publish research findings in peer‑reviewed journals. Seek external research funding and collaborative opportunities. Present research at national and international conferences.
Academic ServiceParticipate in departmental, college, and university committees. Contribute to curriculum development, accreditation, and quality‑assurance activities. Engage in community outreach and professional services relevant to veterinary sciences.
QualificationsPhD in Veterinary Anatomy, Anatomical Sciences, Veterinary Morphology, or a closely related field. DVM/BVSc or equivalent veterinary degree preferred. Evidence of teaching, research, and scholarly activities in veterinary anatomy. Ability to teach gross anatomy, histology, embryology, and related basic veterinary sciences. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Eligibility for academic appointment according to institutional requirements.
