Librarian

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Librarian Assistant in Ajman. The role involves assisting the librarian in managing and organizing library materials, maintaining records, and providing assistance to library patrons. Excellent communication skills are required as you will interact with library visitors on a daily basis.

• Assist the librarian in managing and organizing library materials.
• Maintain accurate records of library resources.
• Assist library visitors with finding and checking out books.
• Provide basic reference services to patrons.
• Help with processing new books and materials for the library collection.
• Assist in planning and executing library programs and events.
• Keep the library clean, neat, and organized.

• Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or a related field preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills in English;
  Arabic is a plus.
• Previous experience working in a library setting is preferred.
• Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.
• Must have a valid biometric passport for foreigners residing in Ajman.
