Job Description / Role:The College of Business Administration at Ajman University has an opening for an Adjunct Faculty member specializing in Innovation and Entrepreneurship, starting in Spring 2026-27.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality classroom instruction in Innovation and Entrepreneurship courses, ensuring that course objectives are met and students are engaged.
- Evaluate and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Organize and manage instructional resources, course outlines, and community networks.
- Foster a respectful and culturally sensitive learning environment.
- Cultivate effective working relationships across the organization and within the community.
- Inspire and motivate students and colleagues to overcome challenges and pursue personal and academic growth.
- Actively seek innovative methods and resources to continuously enhance course delivery.
- Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
Required:
- Relevant industry or consulting experience in innovation and entrepreneurship that provides practical insights for the classroom.
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and/or graduate level in courses related to innovation and entrepreneurship.
- Proven ability to develop innovative course materials and adapt to evolving teaching methodologies.
Qualifications:
- A Ph.D. in Innovation, Entrepreneurship, or a related field from a reputable university is preferred; candidates with a Master’s degree and substantial industry experience may also be considered.
- Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and current educational technologies.
- Familiarity with the “Credit Hour” academic system.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively connect with a diverse student body.
- Excellent organizational skills for managing instructional materials efficiently.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
