Mechanical Draftsman

The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings, layouts, and plans for industrial projects, with a focus on trailers and piping and tank storage. The role requires expertise in 3D modeling and drafting, ensuring that all designs meet industry standards and project specifications.

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings for process trailers and various types of tankers.
• Develop layouts, sections, and isometric drawings as required for project specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and create accurate designs.
• Ensure that all piping designs adhere to industry standards, codes, and client specifications.
• Develop 3D models of industrial equipment, tanks, and piping systems using CAD software.
• Create realistic renderings and walkthroughs for client presentations and project approvals.
• Coordinate with other disciplines (civil, electrical, etc.) to integrate piping systems into overall project designs.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for all designs, including revisions, as-built drawings, and project archives.
• Ensure all drawings are up to date and reflect the latest project changes and modifications.
• Assist in the preparation of material take-offs, bill of materials (BOM), and other project documentation.
• Work closely with project teams to provide technical support during the design and construction phases.
• Participate in design reviews, site visits, and client meetings as required.
• Provide input on design improvements and cost‑saving opportunities.

• Minimum of 5 to 8 years experience in the trailer manufacturing industry.
• GCC experience mandatory.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
• Proven expertise in 3D modeling and drafting for tankers and other complex industrial facilities.
