Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Land Surveyor to join our team in Ajman. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accurate land surveying services and activities, including collecting and analyzing data, preparing reports, and mapping land boundaries based on legal documents. The ideal person should be able to work independently as well as in a team environment, have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
The Land Surveyor will analyze existing land survey records such as legal descriptions and deeds, using math skills such as geometry and trigonometry. They will also use a variety of tools such as total stations, GPS receivers, levels, transits, plats, maps etc., to measure angles, distances between points on the land or measure the elevation of points on the property. They must ensure that surveys are conducted in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Furthermore, they will prepare detailed reports with their findings for clients.
A degree in surveying or civil engineering is preferred but not essential; however a minimum work experience in a related field is required. Candidates must have good analytical skills; excellent knowledge of mathematics; strong organizational skills; knowledge of survey instruments (GPS receivers total stations etc.). We are willing to consider immigrant applicants with experience in this field as well.
The salary for this position is 1100 AED per month.
