- Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial statements ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes ensuring timely and precise reporting of financial results
- Conduct regular audits of financial records to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions as necessary
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze financial data and provide insights that support strategic business decisions
- Prepare and manage budgets forecasts and variance analyses to drive performance and accountability
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
- Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits ensuring all financial documents are prepared and available
- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and optimize accounting processes
- Implement and oversee accounting software systems that enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting
- CA qualification (Qualified or Inter) is mandatory
- 8 to 15 years of experience in Finance & Accounts, post CA qualifications
- Trading/Manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of accounting, budgeting & financial reporting
