Job Summary

The Solutions Consultant evolves the traditional Sales Engineering role, aligning how we best serve customers in understanding their environment, providing solution guidance, and ensuring value realization in their investment with Palo Alto Networks.

Your Career

As a Solutions Consultant you provide technical leadership and guidance in the customer’s security transformation journey, defining solutions that secure key business imperatives and achieving value for our customers.

Role
  • Meet and exceed sales quotas by building and implementing strategic, technical account plans that target cross‑platform solutions.
  • Understand key customer business requirements and position, demonstrate, and create high‑level designs across the PANW portfolio to create business value.
  • Drive customer adoption of the Palo Alto Networks Platform, building relationships to increase productivity, operational efficiency, security efficacy, and flexibility.
  • Conduct discovery to understand and articulate key technical, operational, and commercial imperatives.
  • Work closely with Professional Services, Customer Success, and Specialist teams to ensure implementation and adoption.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills, influence through effective presentations and demos, delivering technical engagements and workshops.
  • Lead successful technical validation efforts to secure wins in assigned opportunities.
  • Promote end‑to‑end solutions that include PANW or partner services to deliver business value quickly.
  • Differentiate PANW’s leadership in the cybersecurity space.
  • Continuously develop technical and professional skills and participate in the Solutions Consultant community and industry events.
  • Identify technical stakeholders and cultivate relationships to build a security architecture transformation roadmap.
Qualifications
  • 6+ years of pre‑sales/sales engineering experience.
  • Knowledge in Networking, Network Security, Cybersecurity, Private/Public Cloud Security, SOC/Endpoint, or SASE.
  • Experience delivering cybersecurity solutions that solve technical challenges and influence new business initiatives.
  • Ability to influence and gain buy‑in from key stakeholders.
  • Experience creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or validation engagements.
  • Experience in selling, designing, implementing, or managing Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP, and/or SOC Transformation technologies.
  • Experience working with Customer Support to ensure successful implementation and adoption.
  • Experience with complex sales involving long cycles and multi‑product solutions.
  • Proficient in English and Arabic.
  • Field sales position may require travel for in‑person meetings.
