The Solutions Consultant role is the evolution of the traditional Sales Engineering position. You will provide technical leadership, guiding customers through their security transformation, ensuring they realize value from their investment with Palo Alto Networks, and positioning our portfolio as the partner of choice.
Responsibilities- Meet and exceed sales quotas by building and implementing strategic, technical account plans that target cross‑platform solutions.
- Understand key customer business requirements and create high‑level designs across the PANW portfolio to deliver business value.
- Drive customer adoption of the Palo Alto Networks Platform, building relationships that increase productivity, operational efficiency, and security efficacy.
- Conduct discovery to articulate technical, operational, and commercial imperatives of prospects and customers.
- Collaborate closely with Professional Services, Customer Success, and Specialist teams to ensure end‑to‑end implementation and adoption.
- Deliver technical presentations, workshops, and demos that simplify complex ideas for diverse audiences.
- Lead technical validation efforts to secure technical wins in assigned opportunities.
- Orchestrate cross‑functional resources (specialists, channel, support) to present a cohesive strategy.
- Promote end‑to‑end solutions—including PANW and partner professional services—to accelerate customer business value.
- Differentiating PANW’s leadership in the competitive cybersecurity landscape.
- Invest in continuous technical and professional development and participate in the Solutions Consultant community and industry events.
- Build and drive security architecture transformation roadmaps by cultivating relationships with key stakeholders.
- 6+ years of experience in pre‑sales or sales engineering.
- Proficiency in at least one of the following areas:
Networking, Network Security, Cybersecurity, Private/Public Cloud Security, SOC/Endpoint, or SASE. - Experience delivering cybersecurity solutions that solve technical challenges and drive new business initiatives.
- Skill in influencing and gaining buy‑in from key stakeholders in customer‑facing or internal roles.
- Ability to create and deliver technical presentations, workshops, and validation engagements.
- Experience designing, implementing, or managing solutions in Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP, or SOC Transformation Technologies.
- Customer support partnership experience to ensure successful implementation and adoption of sold solutions.
- Experience with complex sales involving long processes, multiple buying centers, and multi‑product solutions.
- Proficiency in both English and Arabic.
