Job Responsibilities

• Precisely cut and shape aluminum components using specialized tools and machinery ensuring adherence to blueprints and specifications for structural integrity
• Expertly weld aluminum parts employing various techniques like MIG or TIG welding to create strong seamless joints and meet stringent quality standards
• Assemble aluminum structures frames and products paying meticulous attention to detail and alignment to guarantee structural soundness and aesthetic appeal
• Interpret technical drawings blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements and translate them into accurate fabrication and assembly
• Operate and maintain a range of fabrication equipment including saws grinders and welding machines ensuring their proper function and safety
• Inspect finished products for defects ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications and perform necessary repairs or adjustments
• Prepare surfaces for welding and finishing including cleaning grinding and applying protective coatings to enhance durability and appearance
• Collaborate with team members sharing expertise and assisting in completing projects efficiently and effectively
• Adhere strictly to safety regulations and protocols using personal protective equipment PPE to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area promoting efficiency and safety in the workshop or on-site location
• Exhibits physical stamina and dexterity, enabling the performance of physically demanding tasks
• Demonstrates effective communication and teamwork skills, fostering collaboration and project success
• Possesses excellent problem-solving skills, capable of identifying and resolving fabrication challenges

• Showcases strong technical skills in welding (MIG/TIG), cutting, and assembly of aluminum components, ensuring quality workmanship
• Demonstrates proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints, ensuring accurate fabrication
• Exhibits experience within the construction, manufacturing, or marine industries, indicating industry-specific knowledge
• Secures certifications in welding (e.g., AWS) or specific aluminum fabrication techniques, validating expertise
• Holds a relevant vocational certificate or apprenticeship in aluminum fabrication or a related field, showcasing formal training
• Possesses a high school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a foundation of basic knowledge and skills
