This is a full-time, on-site Fashion Production Manager role based in Ajman. The Fashion Production Manager oversees the end-to-end production process for women’s evening and occasion wear through bulk manufacturing. Daily responsibilities include planning production schedules, coordinating with pattern makers, cutters, and sewing teams, and monitoring workflow on the factory floor to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets. The role involves resolving production issues and ensuring adherence to quality standards at each stage of production.
The Fashion Production Manager also collaborates with design and merchandising teams to confirm technical feasibility of styles, manage timelines for new collections, and continuously improve processes for efficiency and waste reduction.
- Strong production planning and workflow management skills, including capacity planning, line balancing, and deadline management.
- Proficiency in garment construction, pattern interpretation, and technical specifications for women’s evening and occasion wear.
- Experience with quality control processes, including garment inspections, fit checks, and adherence to finishing standards.
- Operational problem-solving abilities to address production delays, technical issues, and resource constraints in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and team leadership skills, with experience supervising factory staff and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Comfort using production tracking tools or ERP systems, as well as basic proficiency in spreadsheets and reporting.
- Previous experience in apparel manufacturing, preferably in women’s formal wear or occasion wear, is highly desirable.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Fashion Production, Garment Technology, Textile Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work on-site in Ajman and be present on the production floor as needed to oversee day-to-day operations.
