Key Responsibilities:
- Study drawings, BOQs and technical specifications
- Prepare BOMs, material take-offs and job costing
- Prepare/modify manufacturing and fabrication drawings
- Develop 2D & 3D designs using AutoCAD/CAD tools
- Plan machining, fabrication and production sequences
- Coordinate jobs from enquiry through production and delivery
- Follow up with Machine Shop, Fabrication, Procurement and QC
- Monitor production schedules and proactively resolve delays
- Mechanical Engineering qualification preferred
- 6–10 years of manufacturing/engineering experience
- Strong knowledge of fabrication and machining
- AutoCAD mandatory
- Strong 2D & 3D designing capability
- Good estimation and costing skills
- Production planning/scheduling experience
- Able to manage multiple jobs simultaneously
- Workshop-level technical understanding is essential
