Role Overview
As a Software Tester, you will play a vital role in the quality assurance process of our web and mobile software products. As part of our team in UAE, you'll work in a full-time ONSITE environment, collaborating closely with developers and product management teams to test features, identify issues, and contribute to a robust delivery process. Your expertise in .Net, API testing, and test automation will be pivotal to achieving exceptional product quality in an Agile development setting.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases for web and mobile applications ensuring functionality, reliability, and performance.
- Perform API testing and identify integration issues.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Java, and integrate them with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
- Document and track defects using tools like Jira or Bugzilla, collaborating with the development team for timely resolution.
- Work within Agile development methodologies to participate actively in sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily scrum meetings.
- Contribute to continuous process improvement by sharing testing best practices and standards.
- Experience testing web and mobile applications in a professional environment.
- Hands-on experience with .Net technologies.
- Proficient in performing API testing.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools such as Jira or Bugzilla.
- Demonstrable experience integrating automated test suites with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins).
- Proficiency in Java programming for test automation.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Understanding of cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
