We are looking for a highly capable and motivated Full-Stack Software Developer to join us full-time and lead the technical development of an innovative AI-powered Quality Assurance and Institutional Effectiveness platform for higher education institutions
.
The successful candidate will work closely with the project founder, who has extensive experience in higher education quality assurance, accreditation, institutional effectiveness, KPI management, and regulatory reporting
, to transform the concept into a scalable and commercially viable software product.
The platform will be designed to help universities manage and improve their quality assurance processes, including quality standards, KPIs, risks, evidence, action plans, self-study reports, annual reports, accreditation requirements, and institutional data
.

.
- Lead the technical development of the platform from concept and MVP through to production.
- Design and develop a modern, secure, scalable web-based SaaS application.
- Develop both the frontend and backend of the platform.
- Design and implement databases, APIs, authentication, user roles, permissions, and data management systems.
- Integrate AI/LLM capabilities into the platform for document analysis, data analysis, quality assurance insights, report generation, and recommendations.
- Develop functionality for uploading, organizing, searching, and analysing institutional documents and evidence.
- Build dashboards for KPIs, performance indicators, risks, action plans, compliance status, and institutional performance.
- Develop AI-assisted tools for analysing evidence against quality standards and accreditation requirements.
- Build systems that can generate structured outputs such as self-study reports, annual quality reports, gap analyses, and improvement plans.
- Design the platform to support different universities, colleges, programs, users, and regulatory/accreditation frameworks.
- Develop secure APIs and integrations with university information systems and other data sources where required.
- Ensure the platform is scalable and capable of supporting multiple institutional clients.
- Implement appropriate cybersecurity, data protection, backup, and access-control measures.
- Test, troubleshoot, document, and continuously improve the software.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, frameworks, cloud services, AI models, and third-party APIs.
- Take ownership of the technical roadmap and provide realistic development timelines.
- Work closely with the founder to translate higher-education QA requirements into practical software features.
- Strong experience in full-stack web application development
. - Strong knowledge of modern frontend and backend development.
- Experience with technologies such as React, Next.js, Node.js, Python, or equivalent modern frameworks
. - Strong knowledge of REST APIs and database architecture
. - Experience with SQL and/or No
SQL databases
. - Experience developing secure authentication, role-based access, and multi-user systems.
- Practical experience integrating AI/LLM APIs
, such as OpenAI or equivalent platforms. - Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), embeddings, vector databases, or AI document analysis is highly desirable.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
. - Understanding of software architecture, Git/Git Hub, testing, deployment, and CI/CD.
- Ability to convert business requirements into technical specifications and working software.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of the development process.
