Responsibilities
- Safely operate light vehicles for the timely transportation of goods or passengers while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure optimal working conditions and report any maintenance needs promptly.
- Manage route planning and navigation using GPS systems to enhance efficiency and reduce delivery times.
- Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery schedules to provide comprehensive reports to management.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in logistics or transportation is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a driving role with a clean driving record.
- Valid driver's license with the appropriate class for light vehicles and any necessary endorsements.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and basic repair skills to handle minor issues on the road.
