Chartered Accountant; CA Finance & Accounts

Position: Chartered Accountant (CA) – Finance & Accounts
We are looking for a  hands-on Chartered Accountant  who can take ownership of the company’s finance, accounting, compliance and financial controls.
This role is suited for someone who can go beyond routine accounting and help management understand the numbers, improve financial discipline and build stronger systems as the business grows.
What you will be responsible for  Oversee day-to-day  accounting and financial operations
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of  P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements
Manage monthly and annual  book closures
Review accounting entries, ledgers, reconciliations and financial records
Manage  GST, TDS, Income Tax and other statutory compliances
Coordinate statutory audits, tax audits and other financial audits
Monitor  accounts receivable, accounts payable and working capital
Track customer outstanding, vendor payments and ageing
Monitor cash flow and support fund planning
Prepare and review  MIS reports, budgets, forecasts and variance analysis
Analyse product/project profitability, margins and costs
Strengthen internal financial controls and accounting processes
Ensure correct treatment of inventory, purchases, expenses, fixed assets and revenue
Work closely with management on  cost optimisation and financial decision-making
Coordinate with banks, auditors, consultants and statutory authorities wherever required
Improve financial reporting and help build more structured finance processes across the organisation

Who we are looking for  Qualified  Chartered Accountant (CA)
Strong understanding of accounting, taxation and statutory compliance
Good knowledge of  GST, TDS, Income Tax and audit requirements
Comfortable working with financial statements, MIS and management reporting
Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
Ability to identify gaps in financial processes and independently drive corrective action

Experience with  Tally / ERP / accounting software
Good Excel and financial analysis skills
Comfortable working closely with business owners and cross-functional teams

Preferred experience Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in:
Manufacturing companies
Engineering / machinery businesses
Project-based businesses
SMEs or promoter-led organisations where the CA has handled finance end-to-end
We are specifically looking for someone who can  own the finance function , not simply maintain accounts or coordinate compliance.

The ideal candidate should be able to look at the company’s numbers and clearly tell management  where money is being made, where it is getting stuck, where costs are increasing and what needs attention.
