INTERNSHIP
DUTIES
:
The intern will be responsible for a variety of tasks in the Accounting Department, including, but not limited to: filing, invoicing, data entry, document/spreadsheet management, month-end close tasks, meetings, and special projects. The intern will attend a portion of the Training Academy as designated by the Accounting Administrator.
WHAT TO
EXPECT: Through participation in this internship opportunity, the intern will be provided with the necessary resources and supervision to complete the outlined projects. The intern may work with a variety of grantors and correctional resources over the course of the internship and will have access to employee and client information. This information must be kept confidential.
The intern will have flexibility to assist with establishing project goals as well as the methodology to be utilized in order to accomplish these goals. This will involve shadowing and training with staff in addition to being able to work on tasks/projects independently. The majority of hours worked will be between 8:00 a.m.
- 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday.
