You will be responsible for preparing bids for construction and demolition projects. You will analyze project plans, scope or work, and determine labor, materials, and equipment costs.
DESCRIPTION:- Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
- Prepare estimates.
- Evaluate quotes from subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Analyze cost of labor, materials, equipment and overhead.
- Work with Project Mangers and field teams to ensure the project is completed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers and clients.
- Site visits.
- Help grow the company by bringing in new business.
- Experience with construction and/or demolition estimating.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and costs.
- Proficiency with estimating software.
- Excellent math, analytical and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
