The Senior Manager, Creative Design leads the visual identity and design system for Goodyear’s brand portfolio. This role turns strategy into scalable design platforms and toolkits that work across markets, channels, and partners. You’ll manage Art Directors and Designers to deliver high-quality creative work on time, on brand, and on budget.
What You’ll Do- Define and maintain Goodyear’s brand look and feel across all channels.
- Apply consistent standards for typography, color, motion, photography, and layout.
- Manage Art Directors and Designers to deliver high-quality creative work.
- Work with regional content managers and creative operations to meet goals.
- Direct photo and video shoots, create style guides, and manage external partners.
- Sign off on final designs and lead weekly critiques to improve quality.
- Bachelor’s in Communications/Graphic/Visual Design or related field (or portfolio equivalency).
- 8+ years in brand/agency creative leading integrated design for global campaigns and systems.
- Portfolio demonstrates system level thinking and high craft execution across film/digital/retail.
- Proven on set/post leadership (art direction, retouch/color graphic oversight, color/motion direction).
- People leadership: mentoring Art Directors/Designers; running critiques; vendor selection and direction.
- Fluency in Adobe and Figma software; working knowledge of motion (After Effects) and 3D/CG workflows a plus.
- Experience collaborating across regions/time zones and with brand governance and legal/claims.
- Master’s degree or advanced training in brand/interaction/motion design.
- World class visual taste; systems thinking (platform → template).
- Decisive creative judgment; communicates options and tradeoffs clearly to executives.
- Operational awareness (schedules, resourcing, budgets) and partnership mindset with Operations.
- Data aware: uses reuse/cycle time/QA metrics to improve outcomes without sacrificing craft.
- Time zone flexibility; travel for key shoots and reviews as needed.
