Typesetter Arabic-English Publishing in Akron

We are currently hiring a skilled Typesetter to join our Arabic-English publishing company located in Akron.

As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for setting and arranging text and images into a visually appealing layout for publication.

This is a contract position and no prior experience is required.

• Typeset text and images according to the company's style and design guidelines
• Work closely with editors, designers, and printers to ensure high-quality final products
• Review and proofread layouts before final publication
• Make necessary adjustments to layout based on feedback from team members
• Ensure accuracy of text, font, spacing, and overall design
• Collaborate with team members to meet strict deadlines

• Proficiency in typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
• Knowledge of Arabic typography and typesetting rules
• Attention to detail with a keen eye for visual composition
• Good communication skills to work effectively with team members
• Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
• Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements
• Fluency in Arabic (English proficiency not required)

The salary for this position is $1700 per month.
