- * Shadow a Process engineer, Health and Safety Manager, Plant Optimization Leader and Business Leader for 3 month assignments to be educated in their roles and perform hands on learning activities as directed.
* Involvement in Plant Optimization projects
* Learn problem solving and continuous improvement methods relative to that portion of the business quarter.
* Write reports to demonstrate knowledge of the plant’s manufacturing processes, the roles and responsibilities of the support functions, and the technical knowledge of equipment and processes in a specific area.
* Perform a challenge assignment in each of the designated positions.
* Complete designated management and leadership courses for entry level managers.
** At the successful conclusion of the first year of the MLDP program, the candidate would then be typically assigned to a one year assignment as a Shift Operations Manager.
**** QUALIFICATIONS**:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required.
* Must possess a Bachelor’s degree or three year certificate in engineering, business management or related discipline.
* Must be geographically mobile upon completion of the two year program.
* Candidates should be highly energized and self-motivated with experience working with teams to implement change and be adept at communicating with all levels to get everyone on board.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
* Personal computer skills in a networked environment.
