Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Specialist; PM&R

Summa Health Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician. The selected candidate will work as part of Summa’s growing Neuroscience Institute. This position will focus on care and progression of patients’ needs related to neurologic-based injury including TBI, spinal cord injury and spasticity, trauma, stroke, Parkinson’s and Multiple Sclerosis. Provider will provide spasticity management including botulinum toxin and intrathecal medication pumps.

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehab
• Unrestricted Ohio License or will obtain
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Committed to quality care in a patient centered, team-based environment
• Willingness to work with medical students, residents, and fellows

• First hospital in OH to be awarded the Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center certification from The Joint Commission, in collaboration with the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association
• Academic Appointment at Northeast Ohio Medical University is available to qualified applicants
