Position Overview
The successful candidate will join a dedicated team of four experienced physicians in the Division of Infectious Diseases. Our team provides expert consultation in the diagnosis and management of pediatric infectious diseases, with a focus on complex, recurrent, rare, or treatment-resistant infections. We offer comprehensive outpatient services, including follow-up care for hospitalized patients and evaluation of conditions such as prolonged or recurrent fevers, Lyme disease, and MRSA infections.
The division is actively engaged in quality improvement initiatives, and there are opportunities to participate in clinical research in collaboration with our affiliated research institute. The new team member will also play an integral role in our infection prevention and control program.
• Provide expert diagnosis and management of complex pediatric infectious diseases.
• Conduct outpatient services and follow-up care for hospitalized patients.
• Evaluate and manage cases of prolonged or recurrent fevers, Lyme disease, MRSA infections, and other treatment‑resistant conditions.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research projects.
• Contribute to the infection prevention and control program, ensuring best practices across the organization.
Requirements include MD or DO degree, board eligibility or certification in Pediatric Infectious Disease, and the ability to obtain an active medical license and DEA license in the state of Ohio.
