Critical Care Physician
As a Critical Care Physician at Akron Children’s, you will work within a dedicated team of 13 pediatric intensivists and 16 advanced practice providers to deliver high‑acuity care in our 45‑bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), including a 9‑bed cardiac critical care unit. You will provide direct patient care for medical, cardiothoracic surgical, and ECMO patients, lead the medical control of our regional transport service, and participate in research and leadership opportunities.
Qualifications- MD or DO degree
- Board certification in Pediatrics
- Board eligibility or certification in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine
- Active medical license in the state of Ohio
