Desired Qualifications and

Experience:

• Active and valid Ohio Occupational Therapist license (required)
• Previous experience in a school-based role is preferred
• Proficient in assessing, planning, and implementing individualized therapy plans for diverse student populations
• Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication and organization skills, with the ability to manage caseloads across elementary, middle, and high school campuses
• Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive practice

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students strengths and areas for support within the educational setting
• Develop and implement therapy interventions that support students academic access and participation
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to adapt classroom environments and modify tasks as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations for students goals and accommodation needs
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Offer consultation and education to families and school staff to maximize student outcomes
• Engage in ongoing professional development to remain current in best practices, laws, and school-based OT trends
