• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology
• 0‑2 years of experience
• Pursuit of or have passed Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam a plus
• Ability to apply concepts learned in school, engage experienced engineers, and explore technical concepts independently
• Understanding of design software; experience with AutoCAD Electrical or Inventor is a plus.
• Basic ability to comprehend and interpret safety codes, utility standards and regulations (NESC, NFPA, IEEE).
• Developing analytical and organizational skills, with growing attention to detail and a willingness to learn problem‑solving approaches.
• Adaptable and eager to learn, with a foundational ability to collaborate with project teams in a multi‑discipline environment.
• Developing written and verbal communication skills with a strong willingness to learn and engage effectively with team members.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.

• Assist in the design of high‑voltage substations (15 kV to 500 kV) using design software.
• Learn and apply design codes and specifications related to design requirements.
• Assist with drawing development and CAD‑based design tasks.
• Engage in mentorship and structured learning opportunities with experienced engineers to build foundational skills.
• Responsible for ensuring the quality of your own work through self‑review and adherence to established standards.
• Support client interactions by communicating professionally and learning to understand client expectations.
