Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology
- 0‑2 years of experience
- Pursuit of or have passed Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam a plus
- Ability to apply concepts learned in school, engage experienced engineers, and explore technical concepts independently
- Understanding of design software; experience with AutoCAD Electrical or Inventor is a plus.
- Basic ability to comprehend and interpret safety codes, utility standards and regulations (NESC, NFPA, IEEE).
- Developing analytical and organizational skills, with growing attention to detail and a willingness to learn problem‑solving approaches.
- Adaptable and eager to learn, with a foundational ability to collaborate with project teams in a multi‑discipline environment.
- Developing written and verbal communication skills with a strong willingness to learn and engage effectively with team members.
- Valid Driver’s License is required.
- Assist in the design of high‑voltage substations (15 kV to 500 kV) using design software.
- Learn and apply design codes and specifications related to design requirements.
- Assist with drawing development and CAD‑based design tasks.
- Engage in mentorship and structured learning opportunities with experienced engineers to build foundational skills.
- Responsible for ensuring the quality of your own work through self‑review and adherence to established standards.
- Support client interactions by communicating professionally and learning to understand client expectations.
