Water​/Wastewater Project Manager​/Sr. Design Engineer

Burgess & Niple is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Manager / Sr. Design Engineer to create meaningful solutions that strengthen communities while advancing your professional expertise.

• Lead the planning and design of water/wastewater projects, including wastewater collection system sewers, lift stations, force mains, treatment facilities, booster stations, and studies of wastewater and water systems.
• Coordinate with B&N project teams, internally and externally.
• Participate in business development, proposal preparation, and client relationship management.
• Create an exemplary client experience throughout the project delivery process.
• Promote a positive team environment that enhances our exceptional corporate culture.
• Maintain quality control of services and deliverables.
• Provide mentoring and training to younger staff.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or equivalent from an ABET accredited engineering program.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Ohio.
• 10+ years of related water/wastewater experience.
• Self‑motivated and adaptable. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team environment.
• Project management experience a plus. Treatment process knowledge and experience is a plus.
• Hydraulic modeling of collection systems and/or distribution systems is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office required; experience with AutoCAD, REVIT, and/or hydraulic modeling software is a plus.

Akron, OH | Salary Range: $142,600 – $261,500
