** This role is essential because Goodyear Tire Intelligence Solutions (GTIS) transforms real-time data from vehicle sensors into insights that improve tire health, safety, reliability, and operational efficiency for fleets, drivers, and manufacturers. As a Fleet Solutions Technician, you directly contribute to developing, testing, validating, and deploying these intelligent tire technologies, ensuring they are ready for real-world use. By supporting engineering teams, troubleshooting vehicle systems, creating technical documentation, and facilitating seamless integration with business units, the role helps bring innovative, data-driven mobility solutions to market—solutions that make transportation safer, smarter, and more efficient.
** What You’ll Do
*** Troubleshoot and perform diagnostic tests on automotive components and tire intelligence applications.
* Support engineers in designing, developing, and testing automotive systems and components.
* Create technical documents, training tools, and global installation manuals for wiring and electronic modules.
* Analyze data, document test results, and provide clear performance reports.
* Collaborate closely with engineering teams, cross-functional groups, and the Lead Application Engineer.
* Contribute to process improvement efforts while following safety standards and maintaining a professional work environment.
* Train, coach, and act as an ambassador for GTIS, ensuring effective knowledge transfer internally and externally.
** What you’ll bring
** Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or 4–5 years of relevant industry experience.
* Proven experience as an engineering technician, preferably in the automotive or commercial vehicle fleet environment.
* Strong technical, mechanical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to interpret and modify electrical schematics and wiring harnesses.
* Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills, and willingness to travel 25–50%.

Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in cross-functional projects or assignments.
* Proficiency with diagnostic and testing equipment.
* Continuous learning mentality demonstrated through application of additional education, experience, or training.
