Salary Range: $20.00 To $20.00 Hourly
Performance Health is seeking an Engineer Co-Op to join our Manufacturing team in Akron, OH. The Engineering Co-Op will work on projects related to the quality and process design improvements of our products.
The duration of this Co-Op is Spring 2027 working full time, 40 hours per week with opportunity for extension through summer 2027.
- Assist in Extrusion and Automation projects
- Update product engineering records to include proper documentation for registrations
- Participates in and assists with the coordination of elements of investigations regarding customer complaints.
- Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, and maintain equipment, components, devices, or systems.
- Work from engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
- Perform calibration and alignment checks; make adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed.
- Manufacturing projects to eliminate waste and deliver cost savings
- Quality and Regulatory projects to ensure process and products are in compliance with customer, internal, and governmental standards
- Performs other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university
- Major in an Engineering discipline (Chemical; Mechanical; Polymer Science; Biomedical; Mechanical Engineering Technology)
- Overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher
- Proficiency with analysis/reporting tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- This is an intern/co-op role with an hourly pay rate of $20.00
