Overview

OBJECTIVE: As a Park Assistant Manager, you play a key role in overseeing the daily operations of the park, ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and efficient experience for visitors. Your responsibilities include supervising staff, implementing operational procedures, and maintaining high standards of customer service. Park Assistant Managers are the contact between guests and Kids Empire. They are responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction, resolving complaints, and addressing any questions or comments that guests may have while present at Kids Empire.

Must interact with families and children of all ages.

Essential Job Functions
  • Attend to guests promptly, greet them, and ensure they feel comfortable in the park ambiance.
  • Supervise employees to ensure satisfactory performance and achievement of production goals.
  • Assist the Park Manager with training, development, and auditing.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment among park staff.
  • Audit schedules and obtain needed approvals from the Park Manager.
  • Open and close the park using keys or a code.
  • Communicate guest or employee issues to the Park Manager.
  • Manage check-in processes, including liability waivers and guest information via iPad.
  • Operate the front cash counter, handle cash and card transactions, and provide exact change when needed.
  • Verify and process billing transactions accurately using the POS system.
  • Organize and stock the refrigerator with drinks, snacks, and ice cream; monitor snack inventory and reorder as needed.
  • Walk the floor to identify unsafe hazards and ensure compliance with park rules and guidelines.
  • Clean restrooms and sanitize all park structures, tables, chairs, and playground equipment.
  • Schedule and coordinate family events and assist with event operations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands
  • Stand, walk, bend, and twist constantly.
  • Frequent bilateral hand movements and good finger dexterity.
  • Work in noisy environments and during peak hours.
  • Work in a fast-paced, sometimes high-height environment.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Work weekends and holidays.
  • Able to work with children.
  • Operate an iPad and use basic POS systems.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Leadership and organizational skills; ability to make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to safety and emergency preparedness; ability to work independently.
  • Read and write in English.
