We are currently seeking a Tax Senior Manager for our Personal Tax Advisory Group in one of our Northeast, Ohio offices:
Cleveland, Akron, or Wooster.

The Tax Senior Manager is a personal tax specialist and advisor who is responsible for managing client relationships and tax engagements for high net worth individuals and business owners. The Tax Senior Manager will be highly experienced in individual, fiduciary, and gift tax compliance and planning. Experience in the area of International Tax Planning and Compliance for individuals is highly desired.

The individual will be highly motivated and organized, and able to manage multiple client engagements at one time.

The Tax Senior Manager is responsible for most facets of client engagements, which includes managing engagements and client relationships, taking responsibility to assure timely completion of client deliverables and supervising managers and senior staff. The Tax Senior Manager assumes increased responsibility to handle larger and more complex client assignments in the Individual Tax specialty area.

Qualifications
  • Have CPA.
  • Have minimum 10 years’ related experience; advanced degree preferred.
  • Possess leadership skills to manage and mentor teams.
  • Provide timely client service and be responsive to client expectations.
  • Possess a working knowledge of flow-through entity taxation rules.
  • Be experienced in tax research.
  • Be engaged in business development activities.
  • Possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Have working knowledge of tax preparation and tax planning software as well as Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint) and basic knowledge of operating systems.
  • Experience in International Tax Planning and Compliance for individuals is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Determining actual compensation relies on many factors including individual candidate experience, qualifications, and comparable benchmarks. Base compensation for this role typically ranges between $130,000 and $170,000. Additionally, we offer discretionary year-end bonuses to supplement your compensation package.
