An established Northeast Ohio Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) firm is seeking an experienced CPA and tax leader to lead and help grow its tax practice.

This is an opportunity for a Tax Director or accomplished Senior Tax Manager seeking greater leadership responsibility, sophisticated advisory work, and a path to equity participation.

You'll inherit an established client workload with no requirement to bring your own book of business, while collaborating with financial planning and investment professionals to deliver comprehensive client solutions.

Your Role

• Provide tax planning, compliance, and advisory engagements
• Advise privately held businesses, pass-through entities, and high-net-worth clients
• Oversee complex individual, partnership, S corporation, and trust taxation
• Manage client relationships and mentor tax professionals
• Collaborate with financial planning and investment management teams

Qualifications

• Active CPA license and bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• 10+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting, financial services, or a comparable environment
• Experience leading tax professionals and managing complex client engagements
• Strong expertise in private business taxation, pass-through entities, and tax planning/advisory
• Experience with HNW clients preferred
