Activity Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Activity Assistant to join our dedicated team at Canal Pointe Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Akron, OH. As an Activity Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a warm and welcoming environment for our residents, providing engaging activities and programs that promote their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

• Develop and implement activity programs that cater to the diverse interests and abilities of our residents
• Assist with planning and coordinating special events, outings, and parties
• Encourage resident participation in activities and foster social connections among residents
• Maintain accurate records of resident participation and activity attendance
• Collaborate with the activities department to identify and address the unique needs of each resident
• Assist with daily operations, ensuring a safe and clean environment for residents

• Prior experience preferred
